Reliable moisture protection for metal parts, electronics, machinery, and sensitive products – during storage, transport, and export. Moisture can quickly become costly: corrosion, mold, condensation, and quality loss endanger products and lead to complaints and rework. Berolina DRY-PAC desiccant bags absorb water vapor inside the closed packaging, thereby reducing the relative humidity. This creates a drier packaging environment and provides additional protection against moisture-related damage.
Effectiveness is assessed according to DIN 55473. One DIN unit corresponds to a defined moisture absorption at 40% relative humidity and 23°C.
This is how Berolina VCI DRY-PAC works
The desiccant contains bentonite, a hygroscopic mineral that binds water molecules from the surrounding air. The vapor-permeable yet tear-resistant outer layer allows moisture to be absorbed while keeping the desiccant securely inside the bag.
For particularly reliable corrosion protection, Berolina VCI DRY-PAC can be combined with VCI films or suitable barrier films.
